"FREESTYLE DANCE COMPETITION 2015”

RULES & REGULATIONS

1.The participants can be either male or female or combination of both. There is no Age limit.

2.The minimum number of participants is 5 & maximum 20 in a group. (stage size is 40 x 30 feet minimum)

3.Duration of dance should not be more than 12 minutes in first round and 15 min. in final round.

4.A non refundable deposit of Rs. 5000 is required for registration and must be paid fully at the time of registration.

5.Audio facility (40,000 watts) will be provided by the organizers.

6.Only Audio CD’s are allowed .CD’s which work only on computers are not allowed. Only the required song should be in the CD . Bring a separate CD as a spare .  
     only colour lights for the background  is arranged by the organisers. All other visual arrangement, (if needed) it must be by the team's own risk.

7.The CD for the program should be given back to the stage managers only.

8.If the teams are using any property they have to bring it with them .

9.Inflammable items, glass breaking and vulgarity is restricted on stage.

10.Power supply and sounds(40,000 watts) will be provided by the organisers . Additional Generators and power supply is not permitted.

11.To ensure the punctual and smooth conduct of the program all participants should co-operate and strictly follow the time schedule for

-Getting ready to perform

-Report and lots (lots will taken in the absence of team and will inform to the team manager)

12.Nobody will allow to   take picture or shoot videos of the  performance . This is to ensure the protection of privacy of participants and prevent disturbance for the judges. If the team want the performance CD of their own the team manager must give the written request for that.

13.Extra only 3 persons will be allowed to maintain the stage arrangements.

14.Only additional 5 minutes will be allowed for stage arrangements before starting the performance.

15. If you fail to start the performance on time the permitted time will be reduced from the allocated performance time( i.e from 12 minutes / 15 minutes )

16.All members must be ready to perform when the lot number is announced.

17.There will be 3 calls, and if the participants fails to report at the final call , the participation will be cancelled.

18.After the performance ,stage must be cleared immediatly  and must take care of your own belongings.

19.The organizers can make change to any respect in programme.

20.The registration will begin on 10^th march 2015 from 10am and ends on 20^th April 2015 till 5pm.

21.Choreography,Coordination of performance,Costume,Variety and the way of presentation will be the criterion of judgement.

22.Among all participants six teams will be selected to finals after a preliminary round. (After priliminary round finalists  will inform through the team managers by phone)

23.Prize Details:Total prize money 2 lakhs

First prize : Rs.1 lakhs

Second prize : Rs.40,000

Third prize: Rs. 20,000

Other finalists will get Rs .10000/- each

 24. Organisers only have the right of copy write, recording and reproduce the programme.
25.The decision of judges will be the final and not to be disputed.
 26. The decision of technical committee is final against the disputes connected with the programme and organisation.

27.Any disputes connected with this program will be under Kozhikode judiciary only.
